Three paths towards the discussions in History of Reading
Main Article Content
Abstract
The paper revues three discussions about some problems in History of Reading. The first approach recovers the polemic debate around the potential of the clandestine literature as a cause of the erosion of the Ancient Regime before the French Revolution. In second place, we discuss the way in which the anthropological analysis was used for the study of meanings, practices and readings in the eighteen century in France. Finally, this work discusses how reading communities in England in the nineteen century were a motive of struggle between the Estate and the Church
