Union movement and peronism (1943-1955): to a new interpretation

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to contribute to the construction of a new interpretation of the link between union movement and Peronism. In pursuit of that, we observe the government positions in relation to labor conflicts, the nature of it, the union power that made this possible, and finally, the National Congress of Productivity and Social Welfare of March 1955. Based on the above, we state that the Peronist government failed in its attempt to control the social conflict and that was due in large part to political and social power that showed the unión movement
