Abstract
Since 1970 Argentina made itself a fisher country, being the merluza hubbsi the main captured and exported specie. At the end of 1990 little and medium sized companies being able to conciliate extraction, manufacture and markets exploiting coast species, among which the anchovy takes a main place. The present paper focusses on the management, organization and innovative strategies of Coomarpes and Indupesa, companies which has subsisted in a market dominated by powerful intern oligopoly and foreign capitals which predates the argentinian sea and export products with little attached value to european and asiatic markets
