Land markets in the "new South" of Buenos Aires: Arenales y Ayacucho, 1824-1904

Abstract
In the present work we propose the characterize the formation and function of a land market in two counties of the 'new south' of Buenos Aires province through the XIX century. The seizure process of these lands implied the negotiation at different instances and through several courses of action, which gave rise to a land market even before the full ownership of the soil had been made effective
