Abstract
The paper presents, discusses and compares the argentinean and brazilian experiences on the transition from dictatorship to democracy in the eighties, based on preliminary analysis of curricula, syllabi and manuals.Still discusses the role of these experiencies in the building of recent history or present-time history's theme to the contemporary political debate and, specifically, in the debate about schollar history teaching.
