Las trabajadoras en la mira estatal: Propuestas de reforma de la Caja de Maternidad (1934-1955)

Abstract

This article examinates the legislation to protect Argentinian working womenïs health between 1935 and 1955. The main hypothesis of the text is that the ideas that were conceived on the fourties to protect the working womenïs health ended up submerged and diluted in more general issues during the years of the named "classic peronism". Even when there were several voices that reclaimed the necessity to give protection to the working women-just in their roles of potential mothers- there wasnït any substantial modifications on the normative frame or the sanitary action.
