Diversos aspectos atinentes a la esclavitud en Buenos Aires derivados del análisis de las fuentes notariales, 1821-1830

Abstract

The present work is a step forward in the investigation about the black porteño from the post revolutionary second decade, through the consult of different registries of Notarial Protocols, preserved in the Archivo General de la Nación. Summarilly, this article pretends to illustrate aspects that maybe have not deserved the neccesary attenttion from the investigators of the afroporteñoïs historic problems during the independent period, we are making reference to the analysis of manumission phenomenon, bought or granted, of the future liberation under different conditions, of the negro owner of goods and slaves figure as well as the last will of "coloured" people. Seems useful, then, try this studies that can illuminate us about aspects little or none known at all about the negros in Buenos Aires during the XIXth century.
