Análisis y comentarios de fuentes para el estudio de la tierra en los partidos de Chascomús, Ranchos y Monte 1779-1850

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to review the sources used by historians and relate with complete sets of data in a longer period of time, to cover all legal options for land acquisition. To fix the issue and determine spatial location of the plots is reconstructed Registro Gráfico, 1830, supplementing the deficiencies of information with records of Escribaní­a Mayor de Gobierno, books of Mensuras Antiguas y Duplicados de Mensura. Weights the accuracy of the information contained in the source, complete empty areas and, finally, the end result is used to produce two Regristros Gráficos that reflect the occupation and ownership of the land for 1822 and 1850, with in order to verify the degree of subdivision of holdings. The working space is limited to the current parties of Chascomús, General Paz and Monte, north-east of Rio Salado
