The Complex Construction of the Interventionist State. Political Logics in the Conformation of a Provincial State Structure, 1930-1955
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article has the purpose to explore the transformations of the state structure of Córdoba between 1930 and 1955 in the process of conformation of the interventionist state. Our proposal is to avoid the perspective centered in the changes and continuities in the public policies during those years and instead to recognize the existence of two logics in the state structuring. This implies that while the politicians of the thirties promoted the multiplication of the state functions and interventions, the peronist governments propitiated the growing and increasing complexity and differentiation of the bureaucratic structure of the province. The investigation was done through the analysis of statistics, memories, administrative documentation, normative and debates of the executive and legislative of Córdoba and the press of the epoch
